Vevo
sounds of the caribbean 2024
This campaign was designed to celebrate Caribbean music and culture leading up to Notting Hill Carnival 2024. By showcasing genres like reggae, dancehall, soca, and dub, the campaign highlighted the profound influence Caribbean music has had on mainstream genres. Running over two weeks, it built excitement for Carnival’s festivities and provided a platform for Caribbean-inspired music across various playlists, video assets, and more.
My Role and Approach:
This was my first experience leading a project, and it required extensive collaboration across teams. I worked closely with the editorial team to ensure the cultural authenticity of our messaging. Additionally, I partnered with the motion designer to storyboard the motion aspects of our promotional assets, a process that involved both visual planning and audio integration to bring a vibrant experience to life. I even mixed audio liners with video to create seamless, engaging visuals that truly captured the campaign’s essence.
